Technology Transfer at Dartmouth: An Overview

The primary missions of the TTO are to transfer Dartmouth technology to our nation and the world to benefit society, enhance the recruitment and retention of world-class faculty and staff through fair and transparent policies, and generate and distribute revenue from the commercialization of Dartmouth technology.

 

The TTO is responsible for safeguarding, managing and reporting Dartmouth intellectual property for Dartmouth’s stakeholders, partners and sponsors.

The TTO is responsible, with Magnuson Center for Entrepreneurship and other campus entities, for educating our faculty and staff about methods for IP safeguarding and the commercialization of Dartmouth technology via licensing and Dartmouth startups.
